The public indoor swimming pool is located directly on the lake and is about 7 minutes walk from our hotel. At the same place you can also find the Seebad & Lido.

Please take your room key with you when you leave the house. The reception is not manned around the clock.

Important:
To open the main door of our hotel, hold the green or blue badge/button attached to the room key to the knob (black/metal) located on the main door. When the green light appears, you can turn the knob and enter.

The lounges/hotel lobbies are located on the first floor of Hotel Schmid and in the entrance area of Hotel Alfa.

Public parking lot
A large public parking lot is located about 300 m from the hotel (central parking meter). Daily or weekly tickets can be purchased for CHF 10.00 per day or CHF 25.00 per week at the reception.

Private parking
Five private parking spaces are available at the Hotel Eden (approx. 40 m away).
Day tickets can be obtained for CHF 10.00 per day at the reception.

Our local supermarket “Coop” is only 5 minutes walk, so about 400 meters from the hotel.

If you want to do a bigger shopping, we recommend the shopping center “Mythen Center Schwyz”. This is 10 minutes by car, so about 5 kilometers from the hotel.

We are a non-smoking hotel.

If suddenly strong “Föhn” (storm with gusts of wind) can arise, we ask you to retract the sun blinds in the evening. Thank you!

To celebrate the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation in 1991, the cantons gave the Swiss a homeland hiking trail: the Swiss Path. It runs as a 35-kilometer-long panoramic trail around the southernmost arm of Lake Lucerne, the Lake of Uri. It invites you to hike history, opens up intact nature and encourages you to talk to yourself.

Our tap water originates from springs on the Lauerzerberg. It is drinkable and extremely wholesome.
